This website uses Adsense advertisement mechanism that uses cookies. Since their source is external I cannot tell for sure what are their purposes. Straight from horse's mouth: see Google cookies policy for details.
Other than that, there is single cookie with language choice (most of the pages are available in two languages) and another that is used by logging to ignore (skip) subsequent user action (trying to track unique visitors count). While many cookies can be used to track user this second one actually reduces trace size created by visits in log created on server side (if you don't accept this cookie you may appear in my log multiple times and while it's interesting where you came from I'm usually not interested in your whole browsing history).
This cookie policy is obviously pointless and all it does is wasting your and my bandwidth and time. Unfortunately all Google Adsense publishers were forced to comply with these dumb EU bureaucrats law by September 30, 2015.
With advent of GDPR (May 2018) Adsense ads were switched to non-personalized for EEA users.
