CR1008 LED clock
LED alarm clock with extra large digit size (2" height), USB ports for charging and night light. Branded as Rocam or Mesqool.
Glossy, prone to scratches plastic.
2 AAA cells used as clock backup power.
LED brightness is controlled with potentiometer.
There also seems to be a variant with vibration alarm on the cord.

Two PCBs, the one in the back contains mostly user interface elements.
Display is made out of discrete SMD LEDs, shapes are created by plastic mask/light guide. One of the plastic pegs/rivets was broken and rattling inside - this was the reason for disassembly.
While there are no markings on the microcontroller, PCB screen layer shows CA69F16L2 mark - 8051 MCU with 16 kB FLASH, 12-bit ADC and LED driver.
Suggested applications include LED effects for speaker.
